National Corvette Museum Sinkhole to Become Permanent?

By now, everyone in the nation has heard about the National Corvette Museum sinkhole, which developed in February, swallowing eight classic Corvettes and causing a slew of damage. Ongoing developments, including the extraction of each car from the hole, have been heavily covered across all media outlets. Due to the attention increase, the museum received a 50-percent surge in attendance during the month of March alone, and because of this, they’re considering doing what we never thought they would: keeping the sinkhole.

The very first 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 recently went up for sale at the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Palm Beach, and the finely crafted sports car sold for an incredible $1 million in a matter of two minutes! The lucky bidder was NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick, who has a history of buying first-production Chevy models. He already owns the first-ever 2014 Chevy Camaro and the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible, bringing his total of first-production Chevy models to three.
